JAKARTA - Bad news for Nissan Sentra 2022 owners in the US, they immediately received news of a recall on the sedan after problems related to the seal were found.

Nissan has revealed that the affected Sentra model has a missing seal or in the driver's side covering area. Which means, there is a possibility that water can enter the driver's left side floor in the event of heavy rain. Of course this can increase the risk of corrosion in the car's components.

Quoted from Carscoops, Monday, June 19, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), revealed that if the corrosion develops to the main body of the engine room's connector, it could trigger an electrical short circuit or thermal damage to the connector.

If the car has a short circuit, there are components that will malfunction, including rear lights, danger lights, back lights, VDC, motor washers, and airbags.

Not only that. malfunctions can also occur in other components such as indicator lights, machines that do not want to start, and acceleration problems. Due to this problem, the car can also catch fire when a short circuit occurs.

The manufacturer has also reached the dealers by informing them of the recall problem at the 2022 Center on June 14 and will notify all car owners starting July 26.

A total of 230 Nissan Sentra 2022 units were affected by the recall, with details of the production date 21 September 2022 and 27 September 2022.

The Sakura country manufacturer will also address this issue with a dealers who will seal the driver's side covering and check the main body lines to the engine room lines to prevent corrosion.

However, if theharnes are damaged, the technician will replace the components with the latest.
