JAKARTA - Starting May 3-June 23, 2023 at the Hyundai Mobility Innovation Center, GIIC Kota Deltamas, Cikarang, PT Hyundai Motor Indonesia (HMMI) again provides R&D Level Up Education training to 57 local suppliers.

This exhibition was held by Hyundai in order to increase the human resources of the Indonesian local automotive industry.

Bong Kyu Lee, as President Director of PT HMMI, said that his party is aware of the importance of sharing knowledge and innovation with local suppliers in Indonesia.

He said HMMI wanted to grow together in creating a stronger Indonesian automotive industry ecosystem by increasing human resources.

"We are very proud to have succeeded in increasing the capability of R&D suppliers through this program and are committed to continuing to provide sustainable training," said Bong Kyu Lee in his official statement quoted by ANTARA, Friday, May 5.

This program consists of 3 main materials, namely design knowledge, material evaluation education, and CATIA design training. Later, suppliers will be given classroom training, laboratory visits, and computer practicum for CATIA design.

This program was presented to trigger suppliers who were previously not interested in the field of R&D, have now started investing in developing R&D capabilities. This proves that HMMI's commitment to growing with Indonesia has resulted in positive results.

Since taking place in 2021, many suppliers have achieved their success and improved their abilities thanks to the program from HMMI.

This series of training aims to increase the level of domestic components of HMMI products including electric vehicles where Hyundai is the first producer of electric cars in Indonesia.
