JAKARTA - Bring Me The Horizon or BMTH vocalist Oliver Sykes revealed what happened to their performance at the Beach City International Stadium Ancol, North Jakarta on Friday, November 10 evening.

"Hello Indonesia, how about you guys, here Oli. I'm here to explain the context of last night, and what happened," Oliver Sykes said on Instagram Story Bring Me The Horizon, Saturday, November 11.

Oli, as she is familiarly called, said that the personnel were asked to leave the stage by the crew worried that something bad would happen if the concert continued.

"Obviously when performing last night, we were pulled out after performing one of the songs because of the concerns of our crew and some local crew," said Oli.

"That the stage and the support poles, which basically have a lot of venues, depend on sound, bounce (gorge) very much," he continued.

He said the big screen of the video player and loudspeaker on the stage was shaking and looks very concerning.

There are concerns that something serious could happen, with a (stage) structure that could fall or injure people, or be much worse. So, we have no choice but to cancel the show," he said.

Oliver Sykes also regretted the condition that was impossible to fix, until BMTH was decided not to appear at all on Saturday, November 11.

The vocalist said he had provided several alternative options to keep appearing, but there did appear to be no agreement until the second day of the show was decided not to be presented at all.

"We are looking for everything we can do. We had suggested getting rid of the screen of the video player, (and) a lighting device, so we just performed a kind of strip back show," said Oliver Sykes.
