Appointed To Open The Air Supply Concert, Brisia Jodie Panic

JAKARTA - Singer Brisia Jodie admitted that she panicked when she was asked to be the opening performer for the single Air Supply concert in Indonesia.

Apparently, this is the first time for Jodie to appear at an international musician's concert, making him panic and not play. Moreover, Air Suppy is a duo whose name has been known to various parts of the world.

"Honestly, I'm panicking, because this is my first time being the opening performer for a concert for musicians abroad (negligible), what else is this a very legendary band," he said as quoted by Antara, Tuesday.

"Life can never be calm, there are always challenges," he added.

Even so, the singer of Cinta Kau Di Mana admitted that she was happy and grateful for M Entertainment's offer.

Not just adding to his musical experience, Jodie said his family was a big admirer of Air Supply, making him more excited to perform.

In fact, he returned to practicing vocals and dance after not doing it for a long time, in order to give his best performance at the Air Supply concert in Solo, Central Java, December 1.

In addition, Jodie said he would show something new, starting at the concert, where what he usually performs with a ballad arrangement will be repackaged into a fresher concept that he still keeps a secret.

"I'm now doing vocal lessons again, I'm having dance lessons again, because I've forgotten the choreography movements, so preparations are also for new concepts, all my band members are also new," said Jodie.

The Air Supply concert titled The Lost In Love Experience will be held at the Surakarta Muhammadiyah University Edutorium with a capacity of 6,000 spectators. Brisia Jodie as the opening performer is scheduled to bring a total of five flagship songs.
