Appearing At The God Bless Gold Concert, Kaka Slank Will Play This Song?

JAKARTA - Kaka Slank is known as a great singer inspired by God Bless. On many occasions, he called Achmad Albar his role model.

Although Slank and God Bless have often been on one stage, for the first time Kaka will be a guest singer at the God Bless concert. He will appear at the 50 Years of God Bless Gold Concert.

"This is the first time," Kaka told the media crew in Senayan, Central Jakarta on Wednesday, October 25.

The man who has the birth name Akhadi Wira Satriaji will perform one song. However, there are no further details regarding his appearance later. Allegedly, Kaka will perform Zakia, a dangdut song from the solo album Achmad Albar which was released decades ago.

"Just look at it later, basically one song. Because there are many collaborations, then on stage there are also 60 orchestral players. It should be really good," he said.

Kaka admitted that she really wanted to be involved in celebrating God Bless' golden age. Luckily, his wish was welcomed by God Bless' management.

"Incidentally, I was asked by God Bless' management to appear. But actually there are special signals that I sent to God Bless's management so that I was called in the 50th anniversary," said Kaka.

The 49-year-old vocalist also expressed his admiration for God Bless. He called Achmad Albar cs his role model in music.

"Great God Bless, people are still hoarding to watch the concert. And God Bless is still cool on stage," he concluded.

For information, the 50 Years of God Bless Gold Concert will be held at Istora Senayan, Central Jakarta on November 10.

Apart from Kaka, several other musicians who will also appear are Anggun C Sasmi, Nicky Astria, Band Box, to guitarist Eet Sjahranie.
