JAKARTA - Tinashe revealed she felt 'harmful' because she was forced to work with R. Kelly and Chris Brown by her former label, RCA.

In a recent interview with Zach Sang, the star who lives in LA talked about his latest release, BB/ANG3L studio album, and became an independent artist.

You think I want [to do a collaboration?],' Tinashe started answering before laughing. I really blocked R. Kelly's song from my mind. I forgot that [the song] exists. It was so embarrassing. It was so not real that I had a collaboration song with R. Kelly.

The 30-year-old singer also recalled how young she was to compose a song with R. Kelly, saying she might be 20 years old and recently signed a contract with the label [RCA].

Sang kemudian menyali, dengan menyebutkan bahwa pusitas akan berpikir [Tinashe] melakukan hal itu dengan revolah meskipun tidak memiliki banyak kekuatan dalam situasi tersebut.

Tinashe agreed, answering: 'Especially when it comes to singles, for example, the song with Chris [Brown] is a song we all want to be this big moment... So I feel in my mind [labeled], they are like 'You need support'. And [Chris] like the biggest artists they were on rhythmic radio at the time.

This confused alt-R&B-pop stars because he thought, 'This is a pop song' and doesn't feel 'they' have to put Chris in it.' However, they did and Players didn't succeed on the charts, peaking at 84 in England.

I don't like that, Tinashe told Sang, [Decision] that doesn't mean anything to me.'
