CFMoto Tries New Sport Motorcycle, Ready To Enter Production Stage?

JAKARTA - In the past, crazy ideas about Chinese-made motorcycles competing with Japanese, US, and European brands seemed unrealistic.

However, China's motorcycle industry is currently experiencing rapid development, with one of them being carried out by CFMoto, which is rumored to be launching a sports motorbike or supersport named 675SR.

This news emerged when the motorcycle prototype was being tested at the CFMoto Day event which took place at Zhuzhou International Circuit, as reported by Motorcyclenews, Wednesday, October 11.

The motorbike is still wrapped in plastic to hide the details, but at first glance, these two motorbikes look similar to the 450 SS model. Some of the features, such as lights, also look similar.

In addition, there is a curved wing located on the side panel, which is similar to the Honda CBR1000 RR. Even the front brake disk resembles the one used on MotoGP bikes to flow air to the Kaliper section.

Although some parts such as rearview mirrors are no longer wrapped, it shows that this supersport prototype is ready to enter the production stage.

It is estimated that this model will be equipped with a three-cylindrical engine, using an inline-triple engine, which was first introduced last March with a capacity of 675 cc. The machine patent refers to the twin machine used in the 450SS model.

This is certainly interesting news to wait for, especially considering that China is known for its more affordable motorcycle price offerings compared to other manufacturers.
