Hyundai Ioniq 7 Is Testing, Will You Use Powertrain Kia EV9?

Hyundai intends to expand the ranks of electric vehicles (EVs) globally after success with products Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6. This is evidenced by a manufacturer caught on camera testing its newest EV known as Ioniq 7.

Reporting from RushLane, Tuesday, November 21, the car was seen being tested in Germany on a large dimension. Furthermore, this car carries a more brainy and stiff design in a three-line style.

The SUV is presented with varying sets of rims. The front phase has vertically stacked headlights that will be merged with pixel-shaped LEDs such as Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6. The LED Pixel will also be paired with DRL LED.

However, the overall design is still covered up because Hyundai covers the body of the car with a camouflage blanket. It is possible that this car has a body that is not much different from the concept version introduced at the end of 2021.

The interior has not been disclosed, but Hyundai will bring the existing designs on Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6 with a minimalist and futuristic concept. The 12.3-inch double screen attached to the dashboard with minimal conventional buttons has the potential to be presented.

With a size enough, it would make sense if Ioniq 7 would share a powertrain with Kia EV9. What's more, this latest car will use the same E-GMP platform as EV9. That means, this car will be equipped with a double electric motor that produces 380 bhp.

For the range, Ioniq 7 will carry a battery with a capacity of more than 100 kWh, so that it can cover up to 563 km in one charge.
