Toyota Pajang Hiace BEV At The 2023 Japan Mobility Show

Toyota Hiace is one of the van models that is in demand in various countries, including being well received in Indonesia. This one car is often used to support various activities, both by government agencies, education, and travel bureaus.

This time Toyota Global introduced Hiace BEV Concept at the Japan Mobility Show 2023 which was created by a subsidiary, Toyota Auto Body, quoted from the Paultan page, Monday, October 30.

In more detail, this car uses a normal Hiace body in general or Standard Roof which measures a length of 5,265 mm, a width of 1,950 mm, a height of 1,990 mm and a wheelbase of 3,210 mm. As well as cargo space with a width of 1,715 mm and a height of 1,270 mm.

However, the front of this concept is slightly different from the usual Hiace and adds an overall length of 15 mm to 5,280 mm. In addition, this new face is equipped with pixel-shaped headlights that extend until the grip is closed, accompanied by a burning part in the corner of the bumper. On the back of the BEV is equipped with a more modern lamp and a different back door.

Entering the cabin, there is also a digital instrument cluster screen as well as a large touchscreen infotainment system that includes connected services to track navigation. The back room is also very wide, where there are several units of shelves.

At the exhibition, Toyota also showed off a short video about the use of this electric van. However, until now the world's largest manufacturer has not disclosed details of its powertrain.

The launch is also still a mystery, but the presence of this concept is clear evidence of Toyota's seriousness in working on the electric vehicle segment.
