Subaru Presents The Future Electric BRZ Concept At JMS 2023

JAKARTA - Subaru brought various vehicle concepts on the Japan Mobility Show 2023, including the attention of the 'Subaru Sport Mobility' a future electric Subaru BRZ concept.

Quoted from the CarBuzz page, Thursday, October 26, the concept is said to be a sign of the evolution of Subaru Sport, which means this may be one of the eight electric vehicles planned for Subaru in 2028.

Confirmed as a battery electric vehicle (BEV), Subaru gave a slight leak from the driver's side, one of which has a low sitting position, but its altitude can still be changed.

On this occasion the manufacturer said the driver-centered cabin allowed control of all four wheels, indicating it would come with a four-wheel drive system.

Not many details were announced, but if you look at the thorough design offered, it is very futuristic and sporty, plus some blue accents to be presented.

Looking in the cabin, the car is wheeled in a square shape, including adaptive cruising control features, voice control, and anything found in the usual Subaru Crosstrek.

In addition to the shape of the steering wheel, other dashboards look very similar to the interior of Subaru Solterra, suggesting that this could be supported by the Toyota e-TNGA platform.

If that's the case, the driving system of all two-engined wheels makes a complete sense, with a power of 308 hp as seen in the top specifications of the Lexus RZ, which also uses the platform.

However, this platform can also accommodate single-motor RWD setups, in theory or a smaller front drive layout that allows it to be used for sports cars.
