Isuzu D-Max Gets Facelift With A More Faculty Look Than Before

JAKARTA - Isuzu, one of the leading automotive manufacturers from Japan, recently released the Isuzu D-Max facelift in Thailand. This model received several reshuffles to the interior and exterior.

Reporting from Drive, Saturday, October 7, the pickup features a more dashing front with a goal and headlights design defining courage. Tires and rims are also made bigger so that vehicles are free to go in extreme conditions.

The back light is also revised by presenting three lighting elements. Isuzu D-Max also presents front disc brakes and tromol brakes that support the capabilities of this vehicle through heavy terrain

Isuzu offers a 9-inch infotainment touch screen for its highest variant and 7 inches on the standard version. The system is compatible with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay both with cables and without cables.

Other cabin settings such as volume buttons and radio tuning have been revised to make it easier to use. There are no physical buttons for other settings and replaced with sensitive touch control strips.

There are several other changes in the cabin, such as the USB-C Port replacing the USB-A support, and the model is available in a new brown and black seat color scheme with a more premium look.

Despite being presented with several changes, the update does not cover the engine part. Isuzu D-Max still carries 1.9 liters of turbo-diesel 4-cylinder with a staff of 148 dk and a torque of 350 Nm and a 3.0 liter 4-cylinder measuring 187 dk and a torque of 450 Nm.

The machine will work together with six manual and automatic acceleration transmissions. For automatic transmission, a middle shiftr is provided at the rear of the wheel.

The prices of rivals Ford Ranger and Toyota Hilux are priced at 577,000 to 917.000 baht or equivalent to IDR 243.1 million to IDR 386.4 million.

The commercial vehicle specialist automotive manufacturer also has big plans to release a fully electric truck pickup in Southeast Asia or to be precise in Thailand by 2025. This is a strategic step for the company to face competition in the fast-growing electric vehicle market in the region.

Isuzu presents an EV pickup in 2025 for no reason. Isuzu faces infrastructure challenges that are not yet ready for electric vehicles in Thailand, so the company plans to expand charging facilities and other infrastructure to support the launch of their electric vehicles.
