JAKARTA - After successfully introducing its newest SUV at the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), namely XForce, a Japanese manufacturer Mitsubishi will introduce this five-seater SUV throughout Indonesia.

Mitsubishi distributor in Indonesia, PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI), will begin the inaugural local launch of XForce in Surabaya through the Mitsubishi Motors Auto Show (MMAS) exhibition which will take place on August 24-27, 2023.

Tetsuhiro Tsuchida, Director of the Sales and Marketing Division of PT MMKSI, revealed that consumers in Surabaya and its surroundings have an active lifestyle with high mobility needs, which is the Mitsubishi market target to introduce XForce further.

"In addition, the city of Surabaya has a fairly large compact SUV segment market, which contributes 52 percent to sales of compact SUVs in East Java and has the potential to be worked on by MMKSI with Mitsubishi XFORCE which offers various advantages," said Tsuchida in a statement on Thursday, August 24.
