JAKARTA - Supercars are usually used for personal activities, such as traveling on track or meeting other driving needs on the streets. However, Lamborghini wants to present a different supercar segment.

This Italian automotive manufacturer is trying an unusual concept by presenting an off-road Huracan-based vehicle. The car is named Huracan Sterrato and has the extraordinary ability to bypass extreme trajectories.

As part of Lamborghini's 60th anniversary celebration, they released a special edition of Huracan Sterrato called the Huracan Sterrato Opera Unica. The name "Opera Unica" is inspired by the sea and sky blue in Sardinia, Italy.

This car was developed by Lamborghini Ad Personam division which is famous for its high-price car modifications. Opera Unica is becoming more special because it is decorated with three color paints that are applied manually, resulting in crystal effects such as frozen waters.

Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann explained that the Huracan Sterrato Opera Unica carries a different concept by combining high aesthetic values in the arts.

"The beauty and color of Sardonia always inspires Lamborghini, and this is the perfect moment to experiment with the new painting process, explore the various possibilities of our Ad Personnel' personalization, and finally present this special Sterrato to our clients and guests in an inspiring environment with the amazing blue crystal effect," Winkelmann said in a statement on Friday, August 4.

The paint process, which starts with the Blue Amnis layer, is followed by Blue Grifo and Blu Fedra which are applied manually. Due to involvement and hard work in this paint process, it takes more than 370 hours to produce such stunning coloring.

The details of the work require that the high level of accuracy involve the use of the Black Matte roof and frame. In addition, the splitter and wheel arch parts have a similar appearance. The 19-inch rim comes with a touch of black color to increase the aesthetic value.

Not only exteriors, the interior also underwent significant changes with a touch of carbon fiber and bluesterish skin covering the entire cabin, adding to the impression of luxury on this off-road Huracan.

Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato is produced in a limited number, only 1,500 units worldwide. One of them is Opera Unica. This car will be exhibited at Lamborghini Lounge at Porto Cervo until September 10.

The manufacturer with the "Banteng Mengamuk" logo always has a unique way of celebrating his birthday. Ten years ago, Lamborghini released the Egoista model, a unique car with only one seat for drivers, as part of their 50th birthday celebration.
