End Of August, Alfa Romeo Ready To Launch Last Supercar With Conventional Machine

JAKARTA - Through an Instagram post, Alfa Romeo gave a little picture of launching the last supercar likely with a conventional engine on August 30.

Several times Alfa Romeo has signaled it will turn into a fully electric car brand in the coming years, but they have not planned to fully end the era of internal combustion engines.

Although this car does not yet have an official name, some call it "6C" because of the news about the use of six-cylinder engines, or "33" because the design is said to be inspired by 33 Stradales.

From Alfa Romeo's Instagram post, it can be seen from the image showing the steering wheel with a brown center cap and silver emblem. The news, quoted from Motor1, July 31, is that only 33 of these cars will be produced and all of them have been sold to wealthy individuals who want to have a piece of future history. The price? It is estimated that the price of this car will be about five times more expensive than the basic price of Maserati MC20 or more than 1 million euros or around Rp. 16.6 billion.

Alfa Romeo 33 is estimated to have a maximum speed of 333 km/hour, so that it is slightly faster than his brother Maserati who can only reach 325 km/hour.

For engines, it is still unclear whether this car will use a 3.0 liter twin-turbo V6 engine from Maserati or a 2.9 liter twin-turbo V6 engine from Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio models. Some claim that this car is a hybrid car by combining Nettuno engines with electric motors for a total output of about 800 dk.
