Fiat Introduces 600e, 500e Twins With A More Relieved Design

JAKARTA - Fiat presents a new SUV with the name 600e as a marker of Fiat's return to the B-SUV segment. This car offers space relief and a different driving experience.

Reporting from the Stellantis page, Tuesday, July 4, 600e comes with a design more or less the same as his brother, 500e. With a lengthy dimension of 4,170 mm with a cabin room of five passenger seats, this vehicle is larger than its brother.

Compared to the latest Fiat 500e, 600e looks sharper and dashing. The lighting on the LED lights is also updated. The dashing look is further strengthened by a larger rim measuring 18 inches.

Carrying Dolce Vita's philosophy design, which means "Dirty Life", Fiat offers some of the line elements on its exterior, such as Glossy black details, chrom accents, and gliding on the back lighting.

On its own interior, several features are also presented that help car users feel comfortable, such as auto AC, rain sensor, six-speaker audio system, 10.25-inch infotainment screen that can be connected to Navi, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto, and a 7-inch cluster digital screen.

To make it easier for drivers to drive, Fiat presents an Adaptive Cruise Control system that can drive a car at a certain speed limit. Also present is the Blind Spot Detection feature that uses ultrasonic sensors that can monitor blind spot views.

Other interesting features to help drivers are Stop & Go, Electric Parking Brake, Autonomous Emergency Braking, which helps detect other road users in front. 600e is provided in several driving modes according to driver's needs, namely eco, normal, and sport

Another interesting part is on the runway. Fiat 600e is equipped with an electric motor capable of removing 154 dk and capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/hour within 9 seconds.

The Fiat 600e energy center comes from lithium-ion batteries that have a capacity of 54 kWh which can make this car go up to a range of more than 400 km in WLTP calculations.

Fiat 600e is quite compatible with fast charging of 100 kW so it can charge up to 80 percent in less than 30 minutes. This electric SUV also comes with 11 kW Onboard Charger charging and 3 Cable Mode for charging at home or public which can charge up to full in less than 6 hours.

Although it has not been announced about the price, the rival from Peugeot e-2008 can already be ordered from July 5 and it is hoped that the first unit will arrive at the Italian market in September. Fiat will also present a 600e hybrid variant by mid-2024.
