26 Grand Vitara Units Officially Handed Over To Consumers, Suzuki Guarantees Availability Of Spare Parts Throughout Indonesia

JAKARTA - PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) officially handed over 26 units of Grand Vitara to consumers in Indonesia, Saturday, June 3.

This Japanese manufacturer also ensures that the availability of Grand Vitara units and spare parts has been fulfilled throughout the Suzuki dealers network in Indonesia. "We convey that the stock availability of Grand Vitara units has also begun to be distributed throughout Indonesia. The spare parts are also ready for dealers, both fast moving and slow moving," said 4W Marketing Director of PT SIS, Donny Saputra. at the Grand Vitara inaugural unit handover ceremony in Jakarta. Donny said that Grand Vitara had been ordered for approximately 350 units since it was launched in February until May. In order to fulfill the curiosity of the public and potential consumers who want to see and try Grand Vitara directly, Suzuki's distributor provides convenience through test drive services.

He explained that Grand Vitara carries Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki (SHVS) technology as support related to environmental awareness, and helps users achieve better economic efficiency.

The advantage of SHVS technology is claimed to be able to reduce exhaust emission levels by 15 percent and reduce fuel consumption when it is not needed with the auto start-stop engine feature. "The effectiveness of SHVS technology in supporting cleaner vehicles and environments will be further used by Suzuki on other passenger car models in stages," he said, as quoted by Antara. Equipped with a K15C Dual Jet coded 1,500cc engine and an environmentally friendly and efficient SHVS technology embedding, Grand Vitara is equipped with various functional features both on the exterior and interior such as Panoramic Sunroat, Automatic Transmission 6-Speed with Page Shift.

In addition, there are 9 inch touchscreen Headunits with smartphone connectivity, Cruise Control, Head-Up Display (HUD), wireless charging smartphones, 6 Airbags, LED Projector Headlamp along with Autolight with Guide Me Light, 360 Cameras, and the Suzuki Auto-Dimming Center Mirror embedded.
