Debut At PEVS 2023, Seres Receives Positive Response

JAKARTA - In the 2023 Periclindo Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS), PT Sokoindo Automobile successfully brought the latest DFSK brand and brand, Seres, to an exhibition that took place at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta.

The Seres brand debuted at an automotive event in Indonesia by presenting the Seres E1 unit, which is an electric mini-powered car.

Head of Marketing for PT Sokoindo Automobile, Achmad Rofiqi, said that Seres and DFSK received an extraordinary response during the 2023 PEVS, especially positive responses from the public to Seres E1.

"We believe that electric vehicles are a mobility solution in the future and the electric vehicle ecosystem in Indonesia will continue to grow and increase with readiness from all aspects," said Rofiqi in an official statement on Tuesday, May 23.

Not only received extraordinary enthusiasm from the public, PT Sokoindo has noted that there are 55 potential consumers who have placed orders for their newest vehicle, Seres E1.

Rofiqi also said that there were 1,100 people who showed interest in the Seres E1, which will soon enliven the electric car market in Indonesia.

"All the data we have collected can be a good first step for Seres to enter the national automotive market. It is proven that the presence of the Seres booth at PEVS 2023 has succeeded in attracting consumer attention and interest in electric vehicles displayed," said Rofiqi.

Although the market price of Seres E1 has not been announced, PT Sokoindo will offer this mini car in two travel distance options, which means each variant will have varying prices.

Seres is an automotive brand under the auspices of PT Sokoindo Automobile, along with DFSK. Later, the Seres unit will be produced at the Cikande factory, Banten. Seres will be the first manufacturer to produce fully electric vehicles in Indonesia.
