New Trailer For The Kretek Girl Series Presents The Struggle Of The Economy In Making Sauce

JAKARTA - Netflix released the latest trailer for the most anticipated local series, the Kretek Girl. Appointed from the novel by Ratih Kumala, this trailer clarifies the conflicts the characters will face.

The trailer starts with Lebas (Arya Saloka) explaining the condition of her father who is seriously ill. She was assigned to find a woman named Mituhyah (Dian Sastrowardoyo). She met Arum (Putri Marino) and explained her wish.

Then, the trailer turned into Indonesia in the '60s', a time when Migrantiyah was determined to mix kretek sauce. Unfortunately, as a woman, Mikhayah was not given the opportunity to show her abilities.

On the other hand, Ophthalmiyah is also met with Soeraja (Ario Bayu), and their love story is blocked by social class. Seno (Ibnu Jamil) is also contested by Seno (Ibnu Jamil) and the search for Eligiyah reveals secrets between the meetings of Lebas and Arum.

The two-minute trailer also features a little of Chrisye's song Kala Sang Surya Drown which was re-sung by Nadin Amizah.

Directed by Kamila Andini and Ifa Isfansyah, the series of Kretek Girls is also played by Tissa Biani, Sha Ine Febriyanti, Winky Wiryawan, Sheila Dara, Rukman Rosadi, Verdi Solaiman, Nungki Kusumastuti, Dimas Aditya, Pritt Timothy, and Tutie Kirana.

Shanty Harmayn and Tanya Yuson are showrunners of BASE Entertainment while the script still involves Ratih Kumala with Kanya K. Priyanti and Ambaridzki Ramadhantyo.

The Kretek girl tells the story of Soeraja who is looking for a woman who is not his wife towards the end of her life. Three Soeraja children decided to look for the woman to Java Island and find out the story behind their secret.

The Kretek Girl series will release on November 2 on Netflix.
