"My journey as a documentary film director, met a variety of cultural arts, both attractive, decorative, and narrative. There are several similarities between cultural ethnicities in Indonesia, one of which is art, whether in the form of engineering, macopat, fairy tales, and various other forms and having strong and philosophical messages as a guide for community values," he added.

According to Taufan, Bedindang Bedibuay is the art of the Tidung tribe that caught his attention. This is because the engineering that is sung to put children to sleep is an effort to "slip" ancestral values into the minds of children.

"With the hope of absorbing into the mind, and becoming an important part of character education for the child," he said.

According to Taufan, this film will talk about how Tidung women take on an important role for the cultural space, not just support the family's economy.

"Women have a unique way to continue to preserve tradition. Tells me a modern and progressive woman to take me home and build people's culture," she concluded.
