JAKARTA - Sherina 2's Adventure Film not only presents the original players, but also features a series of new characters. One of them, singer Isyana Sarasvati who plays Ratih.

The figure of Ratih is described as a eccentric person but has selfish and evil traits. Isyana admitted that this role was offered by Sherina Munaf who plays Sherina.

'Sher (Sherina) who invited me on Sherina's Adventure 2. What I always instill in myself is not only memorizing, but also having to feel,' Isyana Sarasvati told a press conference on Sherina's Adventure 2 on Monday, September 25, 2023.

Isyana also practiced choreography for scenes and worked on music. In this film, Isyana Sarasvati will sing one song.

"It's not difficult to say because I can say I got Chandra (Satria) as his partner. We only worked for the first time but the chemistry has been fulfilled," said Isyana Sarasvati.

'How about it... My metal songs. metal songs but playing movies.. Atih!' said Isyana which made the audience laugh.

Riri Riza as the director added that the process of describing Isyana's character as Ratih was inspired by the character that was already in her first film.

"When the design (character) was first, you remembered that there were Sis Natasya and Kertaradjasa. We wanted to play with the echo so that there was a meeting and the flow was there but there was no specific character that became an inspiration," said Riri Riza.

Sherina 2's adventure tells the story of Sherina (Sherina Munaf) and Sadam (Derby Romero) who meet when they work in Kalimantan. An incident makes them go on an adventure once again.

Sherina 2's Adventure Film will hit Indonesian cinemas starting September 27, 2023.
