JAKARTA - The Jarpuk Rindang community in collaboration with Yurita Puji brought the Indonesian flag to appear on the Fashions Finest SS24 London Fashion Week stage, at St John's Hyde Park on September 16, 2023, at 14.00 local time. The Jarpuk Rindang community woven cloth was processed by Yurita Puji and featured at the London Fashion Weeks fashion show on the Fashions Finest stage with several designers from other countries, namely Noor Haidi from Iraq, Liquorish from England, Afro Fashion from Malawi, Paige Lawler from England, Kelikume from England, and Chisle by MR from India.

The woven fabrics used are dominated by soft colors such as sage, light brown, and light yellow. While the woven fabric motifs displayed include lempang motifs, embankment motifs, enggok moon motifs, and pineapple motifs.

"The weaving is very happy to be involved in this show at London Fashion Weeks, they make special fabrics displayed there with soft color selection that fits the trend in Europe today. Previously, this community had participated in several fashion shows in Indonesia," Yurita added.
