JAKARTA - Syakir Daulay must be faced with problems because the film promotion video that is made seems to read the text of the proclamation. The public was furious and the video was considered to be harassing the sacred moment of independence.

Some people who joined and called themselves United Indonesia Volunteers (RIB) saw that there were three factors that made Syakir Daulay considered harassing the moment of proclamation.

"First, imitating our Proclaimer in his content. Second, paroding the text of the proclamation that we consider sacred, this text of the proclamation becomes aware that we are independent," Ferry Razali told the media crew at Polda Metro Jaya, Thursday, August 31.

"Third, reading the content. In the content, when he reads the singles-jomblowati that he conveys, it's the background background of the heroes," he continued.

Not just a parody, the member of the United Indonesia Volunteers felt that what Syakir Daulay was showing was a harassment.

"This content is not just a parody, but an insult, harassment of the proclaimer, text of the proclamation and the heroes," said Ferry Razali.

Furthermore, he also said that there was a number of evidences that could corroborate the police report against Syakir Daulay.

"This is proof from his Instagram, so far it has not been deleted. Then there are also netizen comments that all condemn, no one defends," said Lisman Hasibuan, another member of RIB.

As a deterrent effect for his actions, RIB asked Syakir Daulay not only to apologize, but also to kiss the Indonesian flag.

"Yes, if he can, he apologizes to all Indonesian people that he doesn't repeat it again and just kiss the Indonesian flag, right," said Lisman Hasibuan.

"Hopefully this will be an effect rather than him himself and content creators can be more critical if they want to create good content, don't insult or create content that harms themselves," he said.
