JAKARTA - In commemoration of the 78th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, Andre Syahreza presented the launch of the book Prosa Gerilya at the Tributes for the Legend: The Apurva Kempinski Bali, Thursday, August 17. The event, which was held in a hybrid manner, was intended to pay tribute to the Balinese Hero, I Gusti Ngurah Rai.

Prosa Gerilya displays the heroic spirit of I Gusti Ngurah Rai and celebrates her invaluable contribution to the pride of the Balinese people. This book explores the life and contribution of I Gusti Ngurah Rai, capturing the essence of her immovable commitment to the proud history of Bali.

Through a simple but deep narrative, Prosa Gerilya highlighted the heroic journey of the hero, who with an unquenched spirit still inspires many generations.

Andre Syahreza is an Indonesian writer who is respected and known as the author of several books, including Black Interview and City of Fiction. He started his career as a freelance journalist in Bali and was involved in the design of Latitudes - an English culture study magazine based in Denpasar, Bali.

In his role as a journalist, Andre Syahreza actively writes about tourism in Indonesia. He has consistently explored new topics related to Smart Tourism and Tourism Digitization. For two consecutive years, he was awarded the Indonesian Tourism Awards from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy for his articles published in Colours magazine, including Semarang (2019) and Going North (2018).

Joining him is Frischa Aswarani, a multitalented character, poets, presenters, and famous broadcasters. Frischa's diverse talent includes journalistic work, academic research, essays, poetry, and short stories. His literary contributions have led him to become a speaker at the Ubud Writers andReaders Festival and cultural dialogue in Publica, Kuala Lumpur.
