Michelle Joan Takes Mother's Late Mother To The Final Rest

The late Devi Damayanti, the mother of artist Michelle Joan, was buried at the Tanah Kusir Public Cemetery, South Jakarta (Special).

JAKARTA - Actress Michelle Joan is experiencing deep sorrow, after her mother, Devi Damayanti passed away on Sunday, June 18 in the morning at the Fatmawati Central General Hospital.

The body of the late Devi Damayanti was buried at the Tanah Kusir Public Cemetery, South Jakarta on the same day, after the midday prayer.

Michelle Joan, accompanied by her family, relatives and friends, accompanied the deceased from the funeral home in Jagakarsa, South Jakarta to her final resting place.

"Thank you all for coming, pray for mama, mom is not sick anymore, it's with God," said Michelle Joan, stuttering to hold back her sadness during the funeral procession.

Before being buried, Michelle Joan's mother was known to have been prayed at the Jami Assa'adatain Mosque.

For information, Michelle Joan, who was born in Jakarta on May 28, 1993, is the only child of Jeff Michael and Devi Damayanti.

Michelle Joan's father is known to be from the Netherlands, while his mother is of Javanese descent.
