JAKARTA - Happiness is the highest strata in the achievement of human life in the world. After happiness is achieved then what else? Almost nothing, everything is perfect. That's what Ajria Siregar achieved in carrying out her hobby of painting.

“Alhamdulillah, the book entitled Terbang Bersama Kupu-Kupu, written by Mr. Prigidanto Agung, is finished and available to the public. Hopefully, this book can document some of my paintings so far," said Ajria Siregar at the launch of her book entitled Terbang Bersama Kupu-Kupu in the Ruang Garasi, Gandaria, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Saturday, July 23.

The young painter, who recently held a solo exhibition entitled When Paint Makes Me Happier Than Ever, hopes that her work can add to the treasures of painting in the country.

According to Prigidanto Agung, through this book, Ajria Siregar's metamorphosis is depicted in her work. “Ajria's journey in her work can be seen in the book, although not all works are included. Starting from the early years she worked on the latest work. Hopefully, after this Ajria will continue to paint and produce more works,” said Agung.

The girl whose full name is Safana Ajria Putri Siregar, who is usually called Jia, has indeed shown talent in painting since childhood. Start by drawing objects with crayons, then expand to other mediums such as watercolors, acrylic paints, and so on.

Jia is lucky to have parents who understand her potential. She was directed to the right teacher who could explore her talents.

Painter Kana Fuddy Prakoso's patience in teaching Jia how to draw paid off. Dozens of paintings have been produced by Jia carrying various themes, from flowers, animals, food, and means of transportation, to natural landscapes to become charming painting objects.

Every brush stroke that Jia produces has power. Like a butterfly as the object of her painting, it looks alive, complete with the background that surrounds it. There are flowers of various types and colors, including a beautiful moon.

"I like to draw because drawing makes me really happy when I'm sad, and I just keep drawing so my sadness disappeared, I also like to draw because I want to make people smile with my work," said Ajria Siregar about her choice of painting.
