Getting Paid For Almost IDR 1.5 Billion In Hollywood, Iko Uwais: Thank God I Can Pay Electricity Bill

JAKARTA - Iko Uwais is one of the Indonesian actors who has made a successful career in Hollywood. He has starred in a number of films and series, starting from Mile 22 to Snake Eyes.

Not a few have asked about Iko Uwais' income when he played a role in Hollywood projects. Audy's husband did not hesitate to answer the first income he received.

“The first role as a choreographer is only 21 million (rupiah). It took four months to complete. But that's because I'm new," said Iko Uwais to Atta Halilintar.

"Thank God I can pay for electricity. It is above one million dollars (United States)," said Iko Uwais. In rupiah terms, Iko Uwais' honorarium is almost IDR 1.5 billion.

This income made Iko Uwais one of the highest-paid Indonesian actors. He also continues to star in various Hollywood films, one of which is Fistful of Vengeance which was released this year.
