Aespa Will Perform In Week Two Of Coachella With New Song

JAKARTA - The K-pop group aespa is confirmed to appear at the 2022 Coachella music festival. This news was announced by SM Entertainment as the agency that houses them.

“Aespa became the first K-pop group to be invited to perform on the main stage of America's biggest music festival, Coachella!” so the agency statement on Tuesday, April 19.

Please note that aespa will be performing on the main stage and will not be part of any set. This is different from CL who brought 2NE1 members to appear on the 88rising set, namely Head in the Clouds Forever.

They explained that aespa would perform several hit songs such as Black Mamba, Savage, and Next Level. In addition, AESPA is scheduled to present a new song on the stage.

Coachella is the largest music festival in the United States held in California. This festival aims to introduce new genres and musicians who come from various parts of the world to the audience.

The first week of Coachella was successfully held on April 15, where a number of performers such as NIKI, Doja Cat, Conan Gray, as well as Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, and The Weeknd were also present.

SM Entertainment also said that AESPA will appear on the second day of the second week which falls on April 23, United States time.

Aespa's performance can be watched on Coachella's official YouTube channel on April 23. On the other hand, many fans welcomed AESPA's performance considering that they were the first group from SM Entertainment to perform at Coachella.
