Rosé Positive For COVID-19, The Other 3 BLACKPINK Members?

JAKARTA - BLACKPINK's Rosé has become the newest K-pop idol member to be tested positive for COVID-19. This news was announced by YG Entertainment as the agency that houses the artist.

The On The Ground singer is scheduled to attend a fashion event in early March. Then Rosé did a PCR test as a condition of departure.

"BLACKPINK's Rosé took a PCR test before leaving (overseas) on February 28 and the result was positive, which resulted in the cancellation of overseas activities," YG Entertainment said on Monday, February 28.

The agency did not explain Rosé's current condition when she received a positive result. But for sure, the three other BLACKPINK members also checked their condition.

"The other three members (Jisoo, Jennie, and Lisa) had negative results and none (including Rosé) experienced certain symptoms," the agency said in a statement.

So far, all BLACKPINK members have received the complete vaccine. The agency will also prioritize the health condition of their artist before their activities.

"We would appreciate it if you could show support for the recovery of Rosé and the other BLACKPINK members who are active globally," concluded YG Entertainment.

Previously, Lisa BLACKPINK had experienced COVID-19 in November 2021. At that time, she had just returned from the United States for solo activities.
