JAKARTA - PT Hutama Karya (Persero) improves the quality of minimum service standards (SPM) on the JORR Section S (JORR-S) toll road and Tanjung Priok Access (ATP), so that it is in accordance with what was determined by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR).

Executive Vice President (EVP) Corporate Secretary Hutama Karya Tjahjo Purnomo said the quality improvement includes beautification by repainting the markings every three months, painting the road divider fences and overpasses, as well as cleaning waterways and garbage every day at 22.00 WIB.

"This is done so that the condition of the toll road remains beautiful and clean so that it is comfortable for toll road users to pass," said Tjahjo, quoted from his official website, Wednesday, November 22.

Not only routine maintenance, Tjahjo said, improvements in the quality of permanent toll roads such as Filing & Overlay (SFO) and rigid concrete reconstruction were also carried out on the JORR-S Toll Road.

The exact location is KM 28 + 000 s / d 27 + 600 Line B, KM 22 + 800 s / d 22 + 200 Line B, and the concrete construction of rigid KM 24 + 200 Line A.

As for the ATP Toll Road, precisely at KM 64 + 938 s / d 64 + 729 Line B, KM 64 + 798 Line B, and KM 64 + 449 s / d 64 + 414 Line B are carried out by SFO and rigid concrete reconstruction to provide maximum toll road quality for users.

"We carried out this maintenance on window time, starting at 22.00 WIB at night until 05.00 WIB in the morning so as not to interfere with road user traffic," he added.

Tjahjo said, there were also additional equipment that had been carried out, such as changing public street lighting (PJU) lights to LED smart ramps at several points, improving transaction services by reconditioning or changing 15 toll equipment on the JORR-S Toll Road, as well as adding mobile reader to break the queue from six units to eight units on the ATP Toll Road.

Tjahjo said, in supporting green toll roads that are environmentally friendly, his party also routinely plant trees every month on commemoration day related to the environment, such as World Ozone Day, Relegation Suspension Day, and World Tree Day which is celebrated every November 21, 2023.

"Until the end of October, we have planted 2,340 of them, such as ketapang dating trees or tabebuya, as well as bougenville for the shoulder of the toll road," he said.

According to Tjahjo, even though the available land is limited, his party is still trying to routinely add trees.

"Because one tree alone has a big meaning in supporting the balance of the ecosystem and the quality of the surrounding air," he added.
