JAKARTA - The oxygen issuer from Kalimantan, PT Surya Biru Murni Acetylene Tbk (SBMA) as of September 30, 2023, managed to record operating income of IDR 82.06 billion. This achievement rose 11 percent from the same period last year of IDR 73.42 billion.

"Currently we have taken 5 percent of the liquid market in eastern Kalimantan," said Rini.

The company noted that Acetylene's sales grew to Rp24.80 billion from Rp21.00 billion last year, Argon's sales also increased to Rp16.28 billion from Rp15.03 billion, sales of Oxygen produced by SBMA increased to Rp15.59 billion from Rp11.95 billion.

Then other sales such as carbon dioxide also increased to Rp6.09 billion from Rp3.12 billion.

"In fact, we were able to record nitrogen sales of IDR 3.69 billion, up from IDR 2.40 billion and other sales of IDR 15.59 billion," said Rini.

"Meanwhile, to maintain good production stability and business continuity in the period until September 30, 2023, of course, we also issued repair and maintenance costs worth Rp. 83.14 million, additional iso tank rentals of Rp. 672.40 million and rejuvenation of spare parts of production machines and installation costs of Rp. 469.55 million," explained Rini.
