JAKARTA - The electricity cooking program (AML) in the form of a free rice cooker launched by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) is in danger of being delayed to December. Whereas previously this program will begin to be distributed in November.

Head of the Communication, Public Information and Cooperation Service (KLIK) Bureau of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Agus Cahyono Adi said that for now the program is still in the procurement stage because the revision of the Budget Implementation List (DIPA) has only been completed at the end of October 2023.

"Now the process is still being procured. It's in the e-catalog. It hasn't been shared because it's just clear with the Ministry of Finance," said Aca, Agus Cahyoni's nickname when met at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Building, Friday, November 3.

For this reason, he ensured that the schedule for distributing this ricecooker could be pushed back until this year's acchur because it was still waiting for the procurement process.

"But it must be divided this year. If it is this year before December, it must be distributed, if it is not implemented again," said Aca.

He also emphasized that the procurement of rice breeding devices does not depend on only one brand because the procurement process is carried out openly and selected by the Government Goods/Services Procurement Policy Institute (LKPP).

"There is no tendency for brands A, B, C. It all depends on e-catalog, there is a process and selection. Ask lkpp the process," he concluded.

Previously, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) planned for the rice cooker Electricity Cooking Tool (AML) distribution program to be completed by the end of 2023. Meanwhile, the verification of the free rice cooker recipient is targeted for completion by the end of October.

Secretary General of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Dadan Kusdiana said that the verification stage for prospective recipients is currently underway so that this program is right on target.

With this process, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources will later be able to find out which recipients have been connected to the PLN electricity network or those that have not been connected.

"Before the distribution is the recipient, we will also verify who the recipient is. Maybe I will enter the list and later be verified oh not feasible. What is proposed is that there is no PLN network for what. At the end of this month, hopefully, the entire verification process will be completed," said Dadan, quoted Wednesday, October 25.

Regarding the procurement of goods, Dadan said the process had been carried out through an e-catalog auction based on prices and other requirements such as the Domestic Component Level (TKDN), labeled SNI and energy efficient.
