Pertamina's MSMEs Record Transactions Of IDR 1.8 Billion On Day 3 Of Inacraft 2023

JAKARTA - A total of 20 micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) assisted by PT Pertamina (Persero) recorded a total transaction of IDR 1.8 billion. Where the transaction occurred during the third day of the 2023 International Handicraft Trade Fair (Inacraft) exhibition.

Pertamina's Vice President for Corporate Communication Fadjar Djoko Santoso said that the participation of 20 Pertamina fostered MSMEs in Inacraft 2023 was one of the efforts made in the context of developing MSMEs to be stronger and more sustainable, so as to accelerate MSMEs to advance to class, and reach the international market.

Pertamina continues to collaborate with various parties, to be able to facilitate MSMEs in developing their businesses. One of them is through exhibitions, where MSMEs can promote their products and increase public interest in local products, so that they can be accepted in national markets and international markets," said Fadjar quoting Antara.

In addition to presenting various MSME products, Pertamina also offers activities that are expected to increase people's love for the archipelago culture, including painting on cloth, batik with wood media, and making woven bags made of bamboo.

"Visitors can also get official MotoGP merchandise while enjoying a cup of coffee fostered by Pertamina Geothermal Energy Kamojang," added Fadjar.

On the third day of the exhibition, the umbrella product for the painting of MSME Adhimas Batik Handy Craft became the product most sought after by visitors.

In addition to retail sales, until now Adhimas Batik Handy Craft has received orders from a number of agencies in Jakarta and Surabaya up to 2,000 painting umbrellas with a total transaction of Rp800 million.

"Every day I call my wife to ensure the availability of raw materials and the readiness of workers," said Suyanto, owner of UMKM Adhimas Batik Handy Craft.
