The Regional Digitalization Acceleration and Expansion Task Force (Satgas P2DD) inaugurated Bank DKI as the Best Regional Development Bank (BPD) in Supporting the Acceleration and Expansion of Regional Digitization in 2023. This title was received by Bank DKI at the P2DD 2023 National Coordination Meeting (Rakornas) in Jakarta on Tuesday, October 3, which was also attended by Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Airlangga Hartanto, Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, Sri Mulyani, Governor of Bank Indonesia, Perry Warjiyo, and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ma'ruf Amin who attended online.

The P2DD Task Force conducted an evaluation of the performance of the TP2DD in 2022. As a result, the P2DD Task Force appointed 15 Best Recipient Regional Governments, one Best Superior Regional Government and one BPD that most supports P2DD. Meanwhile, Bank DKI is the only BPD to receive the award.

President Director of Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono.

Amirul continued, Bank DKI is committed to continuing to innovate and become a reliable partner in supporting regional digitization, one of which is by providing innovative digital banking solutions and providing added value for all stakeholders.

Bank DKI's support for the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government includes electronification of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government's Regional Work Unit (SKPD) budget management, through the Cash Management System (CMS) service, so that SKPD can monitor budget revenue and expenditure transaction activities in accounts easily, in real time and more accurately.

In line with that, in his remarks, the Coordinating Minister for the Economy as well as the Head of the Steering Committee for the P2DD Task Force, Airlangga Hartanto said, almost all regional budgets are managed at BPD.

"So this BPD is important to provide services that support the digitization of regional taxes and levies. Therefore, digital banking with a local government information system, this BPD is important and this requires support from OJK," explained Airlangga.

Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi said, his party believes that digitalization is the key to accelerating regional economic growth.

"We will continue to work hard to expand the reach of digital services and invest in the latest technology to provide added value to the community and regions," Arie added.

Including the development of JakOne Mobile super apps with various features, ranging from electronic opening of accounts, transfers, payment of various bills including taxes and levies, scanning QRIS, to zakat and donations. Also JakCard, prepaid smart cards as a means of payment for integrated public transportation modes in Jakarta, such as Transjakarta, MRT, LRT, Airport/Railink Trains, Jabodetabek Commuter Line, access to entrances for a number of museums and tourist attractions managed by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, to payments for certain toll roads.

"In addition, Bank DKI is also developing the JakOne Abank application for MSME players, as well as applications for online credit/financing applications, with digital lending applications," concluded Arie.
