JAKARTA - The Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) has launched the digitization of Domestic Component Level (TKDN) certification. Now, TKDN certification can be carried out through the Ministry of Industry's National Industrial Information System (SIINAs).
"With this digitization, we are trying to cut unnecessary processes, so that within 22 working days or even less, TKDN certificates have been issued," said Minister of Industry (Menperin) Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita at the Ministry of Industry Building, Jakarta, Wednesday, September 27.
The Ministry of Industry also announced that currently there are 5 Independent Verification Institutions (LVI) that have met the requirements to carry out calculation and verification of the TKDN and BMP values.
From the results of the selection, there are 5 LVIs that meet the requirements, namely BSKJI Kemenperin, PT Anindya Wiraputra Consult, PT Biro Classification Indonesia (Persero), PT Superintending Company of Indonesia, and PT Surveyor Indonesia.
"In the past, the verification was only carried out by PT Surveyor Indonesia, from there there were a lot of queues for permit management (bottlenacking), we opened the selection and 5 LVIs have been selected. Hopefully, the process can be faster," said Agus.
