Utomo Charge+ Supports Data Center Industry Decarbonization Efforts Through Access To Clean Energy Electricity Mobility

JAKARTA - Industrial decarbonization is a necessity in welcoming the new economy, especially for the Data Center, which serves a massive flow of data transfer to support the interconnection of society and the business world in Indonesia. In responding to the demand for users to be served operationally with an optimal track record of carbon emissions, of course, collaborative efforts are needed so that net-zero organizational travel can follow the relevance of data market needs that are not only in Indonesia but have a global customer base.

For this reason, Utomo Charge + as one of the business entities of the private licensed Public Electric Vehicle Charging Station (SPKLU) in Indonesia with the largest network in Southeast Asia, is collaborating with the IDPRO (Indonesia Data Center Provider), as a forum for the largest data center organization in Indonesia.

This collaboration also involves Indonesia's United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in the field of net mobility projects, namely Enhancing Readiness for the Transition to Electric Vehicle in Indonesia (ENTREV). The signing of the cooperation was carried out in the midst of the grand event of the Indonesia Sustainability Forum (ISF).

In addition to the latest technology, Utomo Charge+ has a digital integration system that allows electric car users to use it throughout the Charge+ Group network in Indonesia, even Southeast Asia. This collaboration is important considering that Utomo Charge+ supports collaboration in the development of the electric and digital mobility ecosystem in Indonesia and also the use of Data Center based in Indonesia.

In the signing, the Deputy for Infrastructure and Transportation of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Investment of the Republic of Indonesia Rachmat Kaimuddin, Member of the National Energy Council Dr. Satya Widya Yudha and Member of the House of Representatives-RI Commission VII for Energy, Research and Environment Dyah Roro Esti Widya Putri were also present.

In his comments, Dyah Roro Esti, who is familiarly called Roro, also emphasized the importance of supporting the parties in accelerating clean mobility in Indonesia according to the theme Indonesia Sustainability Forum which was held for the first time this year.

"That on the way to the economy of the DPR's sustainability, it is ready to support the legislative support and the arrangement of initiatives and innovations that can have a positive impact on the community," he added.

Selain itu, masyarakat juga dapat mengakses pengisian kendaraan listriknya di lokasi para anggota IDPRO yang bergabung dalam kemitraan sehingga selain memberikan sumbangsih dekarbonisasi juga bisa mempermudah masyarakat untuk melakukan pengisian daya kendaraannya di lokasi lokasi strategis para anggota IDPRO dengan izin dan kepatuhan hukum yang terjamin sesuai dengan pendampingan ENTREV.
