Legitimate! RKA Kementerian PPN-Bappenas Rp2,1 Triliun Dapat Persetujuan DPR

The Ministry of National Development Planning (PPN)/National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) has received approval from Commission XI of the DPR regarding the 2024 Work and Budget Draft (RKA) worth IDR 2.10 trillion.

Minister of National Development Planning/Head of Bappenas Suharso Monoarfa said that the submission of the 2024 RKA which was only carried out today was in accordance with the previous postponement request.

"Based on a joint letter from the Minister of Finance with the Minister of National Development Planning/Head of Bappenas on July 31, 2023, it was stated that the budget ceiling of the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas in 2024 has not changed and remains at IDR 2.10 trillion," he said at the Senayan Parliament Complex, Jakarta on Monday, September 11.

According to Suharso, the budget was distributed in two main points, namely the national development planning program of IDR 1.48 trillion and the support for the management program of IDR 614.84 billion.

"This includes foreign grants from trilateral meetings that have not been included and will be included in the points of the national development planning program," he said.

Furthermore, Suharso explained that based on the allocation of goods, next year's funds will be used for personnel expenditures of Rp. 168.69 billion. Then, spending on goods of Rp. 1.85 trillion and capital expenditures of Rp. 78.99 billion.

On the same occasion, Deputy Chairman of Commission XI Dolfie Onniel Frederic Palit who leads the meeting road hopes that the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas can improve the implementation of quality spending next year.

"The Minister of National Development Planning/Head of Bappenas, through a planning function, can sharpen the preparation of the RKP and in the 2025 fiscal year which is shown by strengthening priority spending, programs and activities that are more productive, as well as showing ties to the targets of RPJMN, RKP, ministry/institutional programs, and budget allocations," said Dolfie.

For information, although there is no change in number, there is an adjustment in the details of the budget for the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas next year, namely from the placement of grants that have been explained previously and the needs of personnel spending.
