JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) through the Directorate General of Highways said that the construction of toll accessibility to high-speed train stations will begin at the end of 2023.

"(The target is to start construction) after the land is available. If the target this year must start construction," said Director General of Highways Hedy Rahadian when met after the Hearing Meeting (RDP) with Commission V DPR RI in Jakarta, on Wednesday, September 6.

Hedy said that currently his party is carrying out the land acquisition stage in the Karawang and Tegalluar areas. He said, after the land acquisition is complete, it will proceed to LMAN financing based on a letter from the Cabinet Secretary Minister (Menseskab).

"There is already a Halim distribution, the Karawang one, right, you get land acquisition, as well as those in Tegalluar," he said.

He added that the construction of toll accessibility to the high-speed train station has been included in the National Strategic Project (PSN).

"There has been a letter from the Minister of Religion to us so that it is included in the PSN," he said.
