Sri Mulyani Titip APBN 2024 Ke Presiden Selanjutnya: Program Strategis Nasional Harus Dilanjutkan

JAKARTA Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani today continued the discussion of the 2024 State Budget with the DPR at the Senayan Parliament Complex, Jakarta.

On this occasion, the Minister of Finance explained that the government will allocate state spending next year to IDR 3,304.1 trillion, higher than this year. Likewise, the target of higher revenue is IDR 2,781.3 trillion.

This assumption makes the budget deficit of IDR 522.8 trillion or equivalent to 2.29 percent of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in line with efforts to restore fiscal instruments.

"The 2024 APBN, including in it, will allocate a subsidy budget and compensation of Rp. 329.9 trillion and a non-energy subsidy of Rp. 114.3 trillion," he said on Tuesday, August 29.

He called this outline of the draft fiscal instrument the last in the current government.

"This is the strategy of the 2024 State Budget, the last year from President Jokowi and Vice President Ma'ruf Amin. We hope that the State Budget can be implemented optimally in the 2024 political year while still focusing on developing national strategic programs," he stressed.

VOI noted that President Jokowi's administration in the two-term period (2015-2022) has disbursed IDR 3,429.8 trillion for the education sector and increased superior human resources.

Then, amounting to Rp1,149.9 trillion for the health sector, of which Rp293.7 trillion is a fund devoted to dealing with COVID-19.

Then for social protection (perlinsos), Rp2,736.8 trillion was disbursed in APBN money. Finally, the known infrastructure development budget is Rp2,778 trillion.
