Erwin explained that the agreement was realized through a Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony by the Governor of Bank Indonesia, Perry Warjiyo, the Governor of Bank Negara Malaysia, Abdul Rasheed Ghaffour, and the Governor of the Bank of Thailand, Sethaput Suthiwartnarueput, today on the sidelines of the Meeting of the Minister of Finance and the Governor of the Central Bank 10th ASEAN (AFMGM) in Jakarta, Indonesia.
"This agreement also shows the commitment of Bank Indonesia, Bank Negara Malaysia and the Bank of Thailand to strengthen cooperation in the use of local currency in bilateral transactions between the three countries," he said.
