BP Tapera Realizes Financing 126 Thousand Houses In Semester I 2023

Deputy Commissioner for the Deployment of Tapera Funds Eko Ariantoro said that the Public Housing Savings Management Agency (BP Tapera) had realized housing financing through the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) in the first semester of 2023.

"Semester I has 126 thousand, God willing, until the end of the year the target will be achieved," said Eko after attending the 61st Anniversary of the Indonesian Republic of Indonesia (PWRI) Association in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, August 23.

This year, BP Tapera targets the realization of FLPP distribution for 220 thousand housing units. However, Eko assessed that due to the increase in housing prices, it is possible that the target will be adjusted again.

Furthermore, he explained that according to the mandate of Law Number 4 of 2016, it was BP Tapera's duty to finance housing in Indonesia to solve the housing backlog problems in Indonesia, which amounted to 12.7 million.

BP Tapera has a role to play in overcoming the 12.7 million backlog for low-income people. This year our target is 220 thousand. And of course with yesterday's price increase, there may be a target adjustment," he said.

Despite the target number of realizations of this year's FLPP distribution, another target that Eko also considers important is targeted housing financing to make it more beneficial for low-income people (MBR).

"So we have a target that is for the distribution of APBN-based funds, there are also from Tapera funds, so there are two sources of funds. The target from APBN management is smooth, our target is that we continue to improve the house on target from year to year," he concluded.

Meanwhile, BP Tapera is ready to distribute funds for subsidized housing assistance for the community as many as 111,591 housing units or Rp12.12 trillion for the second semester of this year.

BP Tapera Commissioner Adi Setianto added that the total funds consisted of 102,773 housing financing facilities (FLPP) worth Rp11.02 trillion and 8,818 housing housing funds for other subsidies worth Rp1.1 trillion.
