Gubernur BI Minta Mahasisipasi Aktif Dukung Pemulihan Ekonomi

JAKARTA Governor of Bank Indonesia (BI) Perry Warjiyo said that students need to prioritize innovation and creativity in supporting the national economic recovery process. According to him, support from all parties allows the central bank to optimize policy mix innovations to maintain macroeconomic and financial system stability.

"To achieve high, sustainable, and inclusive growth, it also needs to be supported in addition to innovation and creativity, close coordination between central bank policies, fiscal policies and structural reforms as a form of the synergy of the national policy mix for advanced Indonesia," he said in a written statement on the BI Teaching program this weekend.

Perry shared three tips in achieving his goals with BI Teaching participants, first to always be active in learning and seeking knowledge, second to enrich the experience according to the desired field, third to get closer to God Almighty because success can be achieved with the permission of God Almighty.

"Students are also expected to be more creative and innovative in today's digital era, as well as strong in facing the various challenges that exist and continue to rise. All these efforts and hard work are intended as worship so that they can be more successful, happy, and blessed," he said.

For information, BI Teaching activities aim to increase economic literacy and community centrality, especially those related to Bank Indonesia's duties in maintaining stability and supporting economic growth.

The BI Teaching Program 2023 will take place during August 2023 by presenting the Board of Governors which will be held in 6 (six) middle schools/schools of choice representing regions in western, central and eastern Indonesia.
