JAKARTA - PT Samudera Indonesia Tbk (SMDR) at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) on Wednesday, June 28 decided to distribute cash dividends of IDR 491.26 billion or equivalent to IDR 30 per share.

Previously, the company had distributed an interim dividend of Rp163.75 billion or equivalent to Rp10 per share on August 31, 2022, bringing the company's total dividend for the 2022 financial year to Rp655.02 billion or equivalent to Rp40 per share.

President Director of SMDR Bani Maulana Mulia said the company's dividend payout ratio (DPR) was 21 percent of last year's net profit of 212.69 million US dollars.

The company will distribute dividends 30 days after the AGMS, in accordance with applicable regulations on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and the Financial Services Authority (OJK).

During 2022, the company posted a net profit of 212.69 million US dollars or equivalent to Rp3.34 trillion (exchange date of Rp15,731), an increase of 128.64 percent year on year (yoy), compared to 93.02 million US dollars in 2021.

In the same period, the company posted service revenues of US$1.15 billion, or an increase of 71 percent (yoy) compared to the 2021 realization of US$672.91 million.
