JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) through its subsidiary PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has now implemented the Full QR Code MyPertamina scheme for the purchase of Subsidized Solar Products in all Public Fuel Filling Stations (SPBU) in 514 Cities and Regencies throughout Indonesia.

Regional Marketing Director of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, Mars Ega Legowo Putra said that currently Pertamina Patra Niaga has completed at least 3 of the 5 stages of the Proper Subsidy Program.

"Since June 22, the Proper Subsidy, especially for Subsidy Solar, has been implemented by the Full QR Code scheme. This means that 100 percent of Subsidized Solar Transactions in all regions in Indonesia are required to show a QR Code," he said in an official statement, Sunday, June 25.

"This is the third stage in the Proper Subsidy Program, namely the community has clarified the QR Code as a tool for verifying Subsidized Solar transactions. This is a crucial stage where direct interaction with the community occurs," he continued.

As for stage one, said Mars Ega, is the installation stage and preparation of digitalization infrastructure at gas stations which has been completed in December 2020. The second stage is the integration of the MyPertamina platform, in which there are servers, websites, applications, promotion programs to social media which have started since July 2022.

Mars Ega continues the implementation of this Full QR Code aimed at facilitating and protecting people who are entitled to be more guaranteed to receive Subsidized Solar.

"Because everything is easy, starting from the list it is easy, then if you already have a QR Code, the transaction is easy to carry and disc by the gas station operator, if you don't have a cellphone, you can print it, so various schemes make it easier for Pertamina to prepare. When you have scanned, it's just a matter of making transactions according to the volume limit that has been set according to the vehicle criteria stipulated in SK BPH Migas No. 04 / P3JBT / BPH Migas / Kom / 2020," he said.

According to Mars Ega, the successful implementation of the Full QR Code cannot be separated from the support of various relevant stakeholders, the Association of Oil and Gas Entrepreneurs (Hiswana Migas), the mass media, and the community itself.

"Thank you to all stakeholders involved, local governments, Hiswana Migas as gas station partners, media that have communicated and socialized the Proper Subsidy Program, as well as people who have played a role in maintaining the distribution of Subsidy Solar to make it more transparent by registering and transacting with the QR Code," he explained.

"This is a difficult stage because it changes the nature or habits of transactions, and hopefully this will be a good start in maintaining the distribution of subsidized fuel," he continued.

Meanwhile, PT Pertamina (Persero)'s Vice President for Corporate Communication, Fadjar Djoko Santoso, said that as a state-owned company that is assigned to manage subsidized fuel, Pertamina continues to strive so that the distribution is right on target.

"This is our joint effort of the government to distribute subsidized fuel so that it is right on target for those who are entitled. We also continue to invite people who can afford to use non-subsidized fuel," said Fadjar.
