JAKARTA - PT Venteny Fortuna International Tbk (VTNY) managed to reap revenue of IDR 32.6 billion in the first quarter of 2023. This number shot up 243 percent compared to revenue in the first quarter of 2022 which was recorded at IDR 13.4 billion.

"Income increased 243 percent from Rp13.4 billion in the first quarter of 2022 to Rp32.6 billion rupiah in the first quarter of 2023 yesterday. So our growth for that increased by 243 percent," said Venteny Director Damar Raditya in Jakarta, Tuesday 6 June.

From this income, Venteny recorded a profit before tax of IDR 4.7 billion in the first quarter of 2023. This figure increased 178 percent compared to last year's profit before tax which was recorded at IDR 2.6 billion.

Meanwhile, Venteny's net profit recorded an increase of 148 percent from Rp2.3 billion in the first quarter of 2022, to Rp3.4 billion in the first quarter of 2023.

At the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) and the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) held in Jakarta, today, President Director Venteny Jun Waide said that financial strengthening in the first quarter of this year had continued the positive trends obtained throughout 2022.

After passing the audit period, the company's revenue throughout 2022 was valued at IDR 73 billion, an increase of 83 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.

Jun assessed that the positive performance reflects the company's commitment to continue to provide support for the development and strengthening of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

"Our focus remains on one, namely continuing to be committed to supporting MSMEs and the welfare of Indonesian employees through the super app that we are developing," said Jun Waide.

He added that the brilliant performance in the first quarter of this year was also seen from the results of the collaboration with Venteny's partner from the Business to Buisiness (B2B) model through the distribution of funds in the first quarter of 2023 amounting to Rp340 billion. The funding increased 30 percent from Rp262 billion in the same period last year.

In addition, in terms of the Business to Business to Employe (B2B2E) model, there was an increase in the number of active users and transactions, resulting in an increase in Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) by 3,000 percent from Rp0.7 billion in the first quarter of 2022, to Rp21 billion in the first quarter of 2023.
