JAKARTA The Ministry of Finance National Single Window Institute (LNSW) conducts a coaching clinic on the SEZ Application System (Special Economic Zone) for business actors to facilitate business activities in Special Economic Zones.

Director of Business Efficiency for LNSW Business Process, Hermiyana, said the presence of this latest application allows entrepreneurs to optimize the use of fiscal facilities and convenience in SEZs.

According to him, six modules have been piloted and implemented, namely the KEK Profile module, KEK Service Notification (PJKEK), SEZ Masterlist, SEZ Customs Notification (PPKEK), Free Movement, and IT Inventory.

"Development of the SEZ Application System will always be carried out in encouraging the achievement of SEZ goals", she said in a press statement on Monday, August 29.

Hermiyana said that until the end of July 2022, the use of the SEZ Application System had been accessed by 179 profiles of business actors with a transaction value of IDR 44.95 trillion.

"The number is spread across the Galang Batang, Sei Mangkei, Kendal, Gresik, Arun Lhokseumawe, Palu, and Bitung SEZs, and there are 5679 SEZ Applications (PPKEK) documents that have been implemented in Galang Batang, Kendal, Mandalika, and Gresik", she said.

Not only that, but this socialization also provides opportunities for business actors to be able to submit complaints or input directly.

"The SEZ application system in all regions must be able to encourage development, increase the national economy, create jobs, and have an impact on the posture of the state budget so that it can restore the economy and realize an Advanced Indonesia 2045", Sri Mulyani's subordinate explained.

To note, the implementation of the SEZ Application System in Indonesia cannot be separated from the government's efforts to carry out structural reforms through the issuance of Law Number 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation.
