JAKARTA - The Grassroots Survey Institute Strategic Consulting (ARSC) released a survey about the level of public satisfaction with the performance of the government of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

ARSC Program Manager Bagus Balghi said, as many as 58.9 percent of 1.225 respondents said they were satisfied with the performance of the Chairperson of the COVID-19 Handling and National Economic Recovery Committee (KPCPEN) Airlangga Hartarto in dealing with the pandemic and economic recovery.

"People tend to be satisfied with the government's efforts in handling the Covid-19 pandemic and economic recovery, by 58.9 percent," said Bagus in the release of the ARSC survey results, Wednesday, July 20.

Bagus added that the number of respondents who claimed to be dissatisfied with the government's efforts to deal with the pandemic and economic recovery was only 37 percent.

The rest, as many as 3.3 percent of respondents answered they did not know, and 0.8 percent were not willing to answer.

The level of respondents' satisfaction with the government's performance in handling the pandemic and economic recovery is in line with the high level of public satisfaction with the performance of the Jokowi government.

ARSC found that the level of satisfaction with the performance of President Jokowi's government reached 56.3 percent.

"Similarly, satisfaction with the performance of the Jokowi government in the second period is relatively high at 56.3 percent," said Bagus.

In the profile of the respondent's occupation, 23.7 percent are housewives.

The second and third largest types of work that the respondents are engaged in in this survey are entrepreneurs/entrepreneurs as much as 22.8 percent, and private employees as much as 22.2 percent of the 1.225 respondents.
