Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani said that the financing of the LPDP scholarship for the nation's best generation is a form of the state budget's alignment with education and human resource development in general.
"To support the achievement of the vision of an Advanced Indonesia 2045, one of the prerequisites is the achievement of quality human resources," she said during a virtual press conference entitled LPDP 2022 Scholarship: It's Your Turn! on Friday, February 25.
According to the Minister of Finance, the government is trying to optimize the function of the state budget as a medium for improving human resources through sustainable strategic programs.
"LPDP contributes to strengthening the quality of Indonesian human resources through the support of the world's best-class education," he said.
On the same occasion, the LPDP Scholarship Director Dwi Larso revealed that this government scholarship program will be opened in two stages. He also ensures that the program implementation process is carried out professionally in accordance with applicable regulations.
“The entire selection process for the LPDP Scholarship is carried out with the principles of good governance, transparency, accountability, anti-discrimination and anti-Corruption collusion nepotism (KKN).
