Qatar 2023 MotoGP Schedule: Bagnaia's Chance To Achieve The First World Title

Francesco Bagnaia has the opportunity to become the 2023 MotoGP world champion (doc. MotoGP).

JAKARTA - The 19th MotoGP 2023 series will be held at the Losail Circuit, Qatar, on Monday 20 November. This moment opens up opportunities for Francesco Bagnaia to become the 2023 MotoGP world champion.

Before appearing in the main race which will be held on Sunday night local time or Monday, November 20, 2023 in the morning WIB starting at 00.00, the riders will first undergo the Sprint Race race.

The agenda will take place on Sunday, November 19, 2023 in the morning WIB starting at 00.00. Meanwhile, the free practice session will start on Friday, November 17, 2023 evening WIB.

The race at the Losail Circuit does not seem to be wasted by Bagnaia. He certainly has ambitions to ensure the 2023 MotoGP world title.

The opportunity exists because Pecco, Bagnaia's nickname, is 14 points ahead of Pramac's rider, Jorge Martin, who is his rival.

Bagnaia can confirm the world title in the Qatar MotoGP if he is able to end the race in Losail with a 37-point advantage over Martin.

The advantage of the number of racing wins this season makes it impossible for Bagnaia to be shifted by Martin even if the two drivers' points are the same at the end of the season.

Thus, Bagnaia must meet the requirements to increase the advantage to a minimum of 23 points over Martin throughout the Sprint Race and the Qatar 2023 MotoGP Grand Prix race. This is absolute in order to fulfill the advantage to 37 points.

"It's important to widen the distance (at the time of the Qatar 2023 MotoGP) because the 14-point advantage is good, but the advantage is not enough. So, it's important to get a good weekend," Francesco Bagnaia was quoted as saying on the official MotoGP website.
