Herry IP Denies Issues Leaving The PBSI National Training Center

JAKARTA Mixed doubles coach Herry Imam Pierngadi alias Herry IP denies the issue of leaving the Cipayung National Badminton Association (PBSI) national training center (Pelatnas).

He conveyed this denial when met by media crews at Pelatnas, Friday, November 3. In addition to denying the circulating issues, he also emphasized his commitment to continuing to train in Indonesia.

"I'm staying in Indonesia, not going anywhere. This is proof. So don't worry too much. I'm still red and white," said the coach nicknamed the Fire Dragon.

Rumors of Herry IP stopping as a coach at Pelatnas emerged after the coach uploaded a photo of himself on Instagram on August 30 followed by a statement 'Thank you'.

The issue then rose again after last week, on the same social media, Herry IP posted a new photo showing himself at a restaurant that seemed overseas.

The upload was then responded to as a farewell from Herry IP with PBSI by social media users

Suspicion regarding Herry's departure was when he did not accompany mixed doubles when appearing in French Open 2023. However, he made sure the allegation was not true at all.

"[The upload] just [wanting] to wish him a happy weekend only. Maybe netizens are too worried. Ah, it's normal," said Herry Imam Pierngadi.
