BEKASI - Persija Jakarta failed to get full points when they hosted Barito Putera on week 15 of Liga 1 2023/2023 at Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium, Bekasi City, Saturday, October 7. The match ended with a score of 1-1.

Persija took the lead after Ryo Matsumura listed his name on the scoreboard in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, the Kemayoran Tiger goal was then broken by Renan Alves in the 67th minute.

This is the sixth draw achieved by Persija as the host this season. The players were disappointed, including Hanif Sjahbandi.

"I represent the team to convey disappointment with the results we got tonight. However, whatever it is, we have a lot of homework to do. I hope that in the future we can correct these mistakes," said Hanif on the club's official website.

He added that he and the other players would work and try harder in matches and training. The Kemayoran Tiger players are ready to evaluate themselves to correct the mistakes that occur every match.

"Persija was once in a heyday and is now in a difficult time. But I want my friends to believe we can feel glory again," said Hanif.

"So, we will always try hard and give maximum capabilities in every game and in training. We have a lot of homework to do from our own mistakes. We have to correct that mistake," added the 1997-born player.
